Early education access is essential for child growth and aids in the development of cognitive, behavioral, and social skills. Growing up in a community that enjoys that access can have a profound impact on a child’s future.
Now you have the opportunity to make that impact on children and families in YOUR community.
Providing Educational Opportunities for Underprivileged Children
The Academy for Young Achievers was developed to provide that critical education access to underprivileged children and underserved communities. Our approach resonates with parents and provides families with a partner and crucial support in their children’s growth and education.
Built from a Passion for Community Support
Our school was founded by Tori Brown and Dr. Keristen Brantley. The pair understood the challenges facing underserved communities when seeking educational opportunities, and their passion for early childhood education aligned with the growing need for education access in their home communities.
In 2019, Tori and Keristen established The Academy for Young Achievers in a low-income (it’s not in a low income area, rather we have been able to attract clientele from low-income areas. The ideal location is, however, in a low-income area and franchisees will be directed as such) community in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Academy was an ideal fit for the community’s needs, offering a high-quality education for children and helping families find and qualify for state and federal funding to cover costs.
The Future of the Industry
Today, The Academy for Young Achievers is bringing its growth-focused education model to underserved communities nationwide. Our educational approach helps ensure that every child gets the education they deserve, and our business model is changing the conversation about education franchise growth.
A4YA co-founder and educator Tori Brown has been interested in child development her entire life. She picked up early experience in the field babysitting and volunteering at her church’s daycare, and she later pursued a career in education, eventually acquiring degrees in Early Childhood Education, Educational Studies, and School Leadership.
When Tori became a young parent, she discovered the challenges families can encounter when they look for quality educational options for their children. The experience informed her career choices as she served as a teacher and eventually manager of multiple schools. In 2019, Tori partnered with her friend Dr. Keristen Brantley to put her vision for early education into practice. With her guidance, The Academy for Young Achievers operates with the mission to provide equal access to early education for families everywhere.
A4YA co-founder Dr. Keristen Brantley has defined her life by facing and overcoming challenges. Her journey to becoming a physician and board-certified diagnostic radiologist brought her face-to-face with those educational challenges regularly, and the experience shaped her outlook and showed her the importance of equal educational access.
Keristen’s drive to learn pairs with an entrepreneurial spirit and eye for opportunity. When Keristen’s friend Tori Brown offered her a chance to combine her entrepreneurial drive with her passion for education access, she jumped at the chance. Keristen’s business sense and commercial instincts are at the heart of The Academy for Young Achievers and give us the blueprint for growth.
