When co founder Tori Brown became a young parent, she encountered firsthand the challenges faced by parents seeking high-quality educational opportunities for their children. The experience shaped her career and guided her own development as a teacher and administrator.
With degrees in Early Childhood Education and more, Tori taught at, managed, and ultimately owned and operated multiple childcare businesses.
In 2019, Tori teamed with her longtime friend Dr. Keristen Brantley to take over ownership of a preschool on the northern edge of Indianapolis. The pair rebranded the school to The Academy for Young Achievers and focused on creating the kind of educational environment Tori always envisioned.
Today, Tori continues to guide The Academy for Young Achievers as we expand into new territories and bring educational opportunities to communities nationwide.
Co-founder Dr. Keristen Brantley faced her own educational challenges on her way to becoming a board-certified diagnostic radiologist and real-estate specialist. Her friend Tori Brown’s views on equal educational opportunities resonated with her, and as Keristen continued to build a career, she kept an eye out for the chance to put those views into practice.
In 2019, Keristen and Tori went into business together. Their partnership transformed an existing preschool into The Academy for Young Achievers, a school dedicated to providing early education access to underprivileged children.
Dr. Brantley’s entrepreneurial spirit is part of our brand’s foundation. She supports our education franchise as we work to expand early education access in every community we serve.
